Counseling has always been a major cornerstone in the ministry of the church. As a Christian, when I am troubled I seek guidance from my youth pastor, or deaconesses. In recent years, however, counseling has moved away from the church and into mental health clinics. Is there no room for the mentioning of God in the therapy session, especially if the client comes from a religious background? Is it the role of the client to bring it up if and when he or she wants? Yet, the most important question of all is when did the Bible become insufficient to transform the heart of man?
